Quick Start Guide Only, No User's Manual
The bright screen of the SkyBean S0 is a very strong attribute of this instrument. I also appreciate how well made it is, and am very happy with the hard shell case.<br /> Now for the criticism:<br /> 1) There is no full User's Manual, as indicated on the Quick Start Guide. It is not in the list found on the SkyBean site indicated in the Quick Start Guide.<br /> 2) The Log Book flight data only giving flight time is very disappointing. I have gotten used to (on other instruments) being able to see: flight duration, max altitude of flight, max distance traveled, max climb rate, max sink rate, max speed.<br /> 3) I have had trouble turning the instrument off after landing. Pressing and holding the power button brings up an airplane icon, not the power icon as expected. I don't know what that means, there is no manual for reference. Repeated trying to shut instrument off eventually works. Am I supposed to manually "End Flight"? I don't know. Without a manual I have no way of knowing.<br /> <br />

Bis jetzt bin ich begeistert, super sensibles Vario mit brauchbaren Thermikassistenten und guter Windrichtungs erkennung. Falls jetzt noch Lufträume( am besten im Querschnitt Visualisiert) dazu kommen würden, wäre dieses kleine Gerät unschlagbar
Excellent size, perfect readable display, great battery life
Love this vario, great compact vario with a good readable display. Already updated the firmware twice and looking forward to further firmware releases with added features. I chose the green version and must say this looks even better in real life
Happy thermaling
Super happy with my SØ. The display is large, easy to read, and works excellently in sunlight. Also very surprised by how good the battery life is. The thermal assistant also keeps getting better with each iteration. I’ve had about 20 flights with it and haven’t experienced any issues. Extra praise to the developer who answers questions and quickly delivers updates with improvements. Highly recommended!

Had a great 10h week without an issue, just enjoying SØ excellent features: thin format, great battery life (received it at 70%, still more than 50%) great display and sensitivity in lift!<br /> Good job!
